Helen Locke has a background in illustration, after teaching adults for four years, set up a print making studio from home in Surrey. She collects ephemera, interesting type and found textures, making screen printed work and collage. Recent work is based on rock pools; trees and the poetry of Edward Lear.
Work is currently available from the Bourneside Gallery in Dorking, Surrey. Helen is also participating in Surrey Open Studios and you can join a workshop called ‘Adventures in Screen print’ on June 21st. She runs regular screen print workshops from 318 ceramics in Farnham.
